Ronald S. Solow is an attorney in Walnut Creek, California, whose practice is devoted entirely to estate planning and elder law. He graduated with honors from Johns Hopkins University in 1977 with a B.A. and M.A. in history, and received his law degree in 1980 from Washington University School of Law in St. Louis, where he was a member of the Law Review.
He began practicing law in the East Bay in 1980, and opened his own practice in 1984. Since that time he has prepared living trusts for over 9000 clients. In addition, he has drafted numerous insurance trusts, wills, powers of attorney and related documents, and has also assisted hundreds of families with the administration of their trusts after death.
Mr. Solow has lectured extensively throughout the Bay Area on the subject of estate planning, and has taught estate planning courses for the College of Financial Planning, which confers the certified financial planner (CFP) designation on its graduates. He also has written columns for local newspapers, and in addition, he publishes a newsletter which is distributed free of charge to all his clients.
